This bedroom update was done using the IKEA Tarva 3-drawer chest, and cutting it down to 2 drawers to make nightstands.
Skill Level: Intermediate I gave this playhouse a fresh look. If the boys don't use it, I might adopt it as my she-shed! Click the 'Read More' to get tips and see the before and after.
Skill Level: Beginner Easy IKEA hack for Boho Tables! Great for the patio or an indoor accent table.
Skill Level: Beginner Another kijiji find! This side table was in rough shape - it looked like someone took a hammer to the top of it. BUT for $20 I thought it was worth trying to fix up. Turned out to be a great addition to our guest room.
Click 'Read More' for the Before & After! Skill Level: Beginner It took 10 months of me working from home to finally get a real desk. Got this vintage desk off Kijiji, but it was a little worse for wear. Lots of scratches up top and a poorly done mending with glue on a part of the frame. But we fixed her up and now she looks brand new!
Click 'Read More' for the Before & After! Skill Level: Intermediate This table top used to be an old vintage door, which was cool, but not very practical. My kids have a knack for crumbs and the panels of the door were great for storing them - gross. So we refinished the top. It’s a quick and easy update for a variety of table bases.
Skill Level: Beginner Anyone have a backyard littered with kids toys? We do. Then I got a big ugly tub to put them in, but that filled up and also looked terrible. So we built this deck box – looks great, holds (and hides) all the toys! It would also work great to store cushions or garden supplies.
